Case files are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years from the conclusion of a matter, in accordance with Law Society of Ontario rules. General website inquiry data is deleted within 24 months unless retained as part of an active matter.
You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; withdraw consent for non-essential processing; and request that we delete information that we are not legally required to retain. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive case files, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply commercially reasonable safeguards.
