Most landlord files do not need hourly billing. The work scope is predictable: prepare the notice, file the application, attend the hearing, follow through on the order. We price the work as a flat fee tied to the file type. You get a written engagement letter with the fee schedule before any work begins.
The LTB charges a filing fee separate from our flat fee. As of 2025 the standard filing fee is $201 for most applications. We pay the filing fee on your behalf when we file and bill it back on the engagement letter at cost.
All fees are payable on engagement under a written retainer agreement. We accept e transfer, credit card, and bank wire. There is no monthly minimum and no hourly billing on these flat fee packages.
